The Eleventh Ordination occurred on 4th Hindyear 1365 ADW, a most historic and prophetic day -- the very day Avalon itself celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary and over five centuries of history in Avalon. In the tenth ordination against erstwhile Edgtho, now Aethon the Sun God, Salvador found himself, much to his own surprise and testament to his skill, on the field against a seasoned competitor and, while he performed admirably at such a young age, lost with the greatest mark a mortal could bear in their soul. Indelibly painted with this loss, he sought with incorrible violence to reach apotheosis -- his sole, his ultimate, his only aim. In his time, Salvador attained the triplicate of Paradigm Seer, Bard and Mage.
In this final profession and as Prince of Thakria, he faced Clara, the Parrian Thief. Avalon centuries of planning and redoubled leadership saw his base atop Sapience, with Avalon ritual created by himself, his deputy Agarwain the Firebrand and Master Gandalph, Threap the living legend as Cavalier, Dunccan one of Mercinae's finest Knights of his era, two young bards Illyism of Mercinae and Necrophona of Thakria, Orielle the indefatigable silversmith, and the great Oracle duo of Mirales and Cadmus, Clara faced the most intimidating force.
Although she held in her hands Necromancer Dankus, Sir Fig and Sir Teryn of Mercinae, Jynx the Bard, Mage Bodhin, three fine Loremasters, Tempre, Alarius and Lleu, the Ranger Khursun, the Thief Julian, many had failed to support her when most it was needed. Too scared to face Salvador, some preferred instead to absent themselves from Clara's team - excuses unconvincing - since Salvador's ordination ensured his removal as a future opponent. Avalon is a land of divine karma and there are Gods well able to lend it a helping hand. Interesting times ahead. Clara deserves our respect for weathering these setbacks and giving her best to the Ordination contest.
But it was not enough. Salvador led his committed supporters with consummate organisation. Agarwain was his able deputy and the pair held position for the entire Ordination.
Most of the Ordination comprised of followers of Cornelius, Tyranis and Ashvani spraying blood wildly across the lands. However, never in Avalon history had the Sapience base been left unbroken so long and, but for relentless efforts of Lleu, the perturbing fogs of Dankus and the greatest upset by Tempre with a valiant phoenix fire upon the base which transformed Salvador's army into a conflagration of burning flesh, distress was but for a second; few of the Thakrian Prince's grand armee even received a blow let alone died; and even in face of any adversity, that becalmed, steely focus of well-drilled and seasoned fighters sat unfazed atop Mount Sapience with light banter and jokes amongst themselves whilst unleashing furious hellfire across the world -- truly a frightening death-day! Thus Salvador rose to become Elmaethor, the god of the stars, coincidentally an Ordination not so unlike the brief god of the stars before him, Nostradamus, and now holds reign in the Pantheon for time immemorial.
