Warfare is active once again and EVERY anomaly should be reported
via bugfile and directly (both ideally). All the Gods will be able
to help if necessary.
Sixty bugs were knocked out as the whole system was virtually redone
centralised. There will be some fine tuning needed I'm sure.
A few key fixes/updates:
-_you can move properly between locations of otherwise too much height
difference if some digging or barricading up of a localepoint makes
the actual move for the legion (from one point to the next) enough
reduced from the two locations' altitude.
-_legions natural movement limit is 11ft at most, without having to
CLIMB but this is higher when descending.
-_Battering Rams now work as distinct and with their own pros and cons
for BESIEGING.
-_ACTIONS deployed numbers show in LEGION INFO so you can see exactly
how many guys are doing things.
-_Legions can multitask properly if you deploy correctly so in theory
a legion could be in melee, shooting arrows, firing bombs in siege
and combat while busily minehunting and digging trenches.
-_It now requires 25 men per catapult and the same number per
battering ram simply to use these big artifacts of war.
-_Legion health, fatigue and wounded numbers now show in battle and
in LEGION INFO so you can have a far better idea what's going on
in a battle. Tactical possibilities are myriad.
Enough - there's more - HELP 22 update is in progress and will be
concluded by the weekend. You will notice HELP 21 and HELP 22 are
split up. HELP 22 is all the practical stuff, legion commanding,
battlefield howto. Fear the helpfiles no longer. The whole warfare
guide is much reduced in text and HELP 22: every help is a page or less.
Far easier to follow and far easier to learn this splendid system.
