Those of you with an interest in warfare / legion management will notice that numerous outstanding issues from our centralisation of the system have now been resolved and various features restored to functionality.
Several dozen more bugs have been fixed, UPDATES contains all info and for posterity, all is noted here:
It is now possible to LEGION EQUIP multiple large artifacts of war (battering rams, catapults, etc).
Numerous display errors with legion battling fixed.
Besieging damage and time taken to carry out tweaked to more realistic levels.
Legions now require 25 legionnaires to operate a catapult or battering ram (whether for siege or engagement purposes).
Legions now retaliate properly when they are engaged by hostile forces.
PROJECTILES and ARCHERS and MELEE all restored to proper functionality: tweaks and fixes made to timings, damage done, troops slain.
ARCHERS will now properly consume arrows as they ought. Likewise PROJECTILES will now use up mortar bombs appropriately.
Legion health, fatigue, the wounded state and casualties taken have had various bugs fixed and tweaks made to bring in line with intended numbers.
All legion engage timers have been mended and adjusted to the appropriate speeds.
LEGION ENGAGEMENT: ALL numbers and factors involved in legion battling have been given a preliminary pass / balance tweaks made.
None of these numbers are set in stone, and tweaks will be made to correct any imbalances and to polish warfare into the robust, strategic system it is intended to be. Experimentation is advised.
As always: Report IMMEDIATELY any perceived imbalances / anomalies to the gods (particularly Genesis or myself).
