7a) PENALTIES - Springdalian citizens, while upon Thakrian soil, will be randomly afflicted by curses and poisons. They will also be vulnerable to random attacks from automated (unseen) defenders for the duration of the treaty.

7b) No Springdalian while within the confines of Springdale will be able to evoke earthbinding for the duration of the treaty. Furthermore, for an Avalon week after each anniversary of the signing of this treaty, no Springdalian with the skill of evoc

ation or spiritualism will be able to invoke or evoke the use of any spirits for the duration of the treaty.
