Flagging SOI.

I have always, always, known that you do not change the legion formation if you want to flag.

It is a poor excuse when an \"experienced\" campaigner such as Dunccan claims never to have either experienced or been told that the legion should never be touched. After all I was taught by Kes too and I knew.

When Springdale tried to flag they couldn't. The legion had changed. The rules of warfare specific or not, prevented Springdale flagging as expected and experienced by many others.

Are the rules different for Springdale? What makes them so special?

Maybe next time warfare does not go quite my way I should pray real hard. \"Vault traps break my vanguard, let it not be so! Let me be invincible! Let not the Thakrian fighters at my gates kill me! Let my 10ks march out with me untouchable to kill the tiny Thakrian 250s and prevent an invasion! Let the world be different just for me! \"

No? I'm not sure that prayer would be answered either. It's not written that anything breaks vanguard - but it can be broken and an advantage in troop deployment lost because of it.

o pray and give thanks to whichever God protects you, Springdale, for with such fundemental gaps in your warfare knowledge you will need all the miracles and faith you can generate to help your Patron rectify your inevitable errors and recover your position.

We all get frustrated by our mistakes in Warfare - but we learn from them, deal with it and do it right next time. It seems that the Divine have taken pity on Springdale this time. How very fortunate for them this time. I'm sure the occupied village of Marshton is most greatful.
