Warfare is still a few weeks away but the BATTLEISLE is now open for those wishing to experiment, train, compete or arrange whatever sessions you need.
There should be no inter-player combat on the battleisle while it's in this mode unless by mutual agreement.
Inter-legion comabt and doing whatever you want with legions on the isle and military equipment you'll find in all four villages: this is all fine.
To go in you should type ARENAISLE <village choice> picking one of the four villages: Celts, Visigoths, Westrons or Vikings.
You can teleport out of battleisle and back to the mainland using ARENAISLE OUT.
There's a bunch of other commands - check out the helpfiles e. g. HELP BATTLEISLE.
Anyone abusing the battleisle teleport or exploiting any other loophole against the spirit of the thing will find things quickly go pear-shaped for them.
Any questions, ask me or other Gods. Any bugs, holler. HELP COMMANDING is a great single page crib-sheet with all the essentials you'll likely ever need unless
you decide to become a general or marshall or warfare strategist above and beyond the city/guild basic needs.
As a sidenote: some of you are missing a trick with all the new blood coming through in YOUNGSTERS -> JUNIORS -> MW/MIDDLING. Some guilds and cities have a
raft of enlistables being killed or bribed or lost, that could otherwise bolster the armies in prep for the battles to come. ENLISTED + KILLED + IMPRESSED +
BRIBED show league tables of the most effective participants. Much xp and reputation and globe power going a-begging.
