Water transports, the final piece of the non-guild/globe specialist and
non-mission intelligence aspect of warfare, are now active. These are
constructed like most other military artifacts (see HELP EQUIPMENT),
require a minimum legion size to complete and will enable the legion
to handle deepwater traversal without significant reduction in pace and/or
strength on the battlefield. It can make a huge difference since most
cities have key points-of-entry via lake or river or sea. It is well
worth, therefore, spending the five minutes required to check out
how they work. Use is automatic, when legion's have them in their
inventory.
EXPERIMENT with water transports by all means but there will be NO USE
of water transports in an offensive capacity until the end of Friday
by the Avalon clock. After that point, it's open season.
