pacifism.

Young Craftmaster Honourboundto Everyone

Good day everybody, after taking the time to sit and read these post I would like to say a few things. There are many views offered here in on what it could be, or mean to be a pacifist, though I am sure that there are cases which pacifism has been u

sed to hide and learn the skills of warfare, I have to say that it means not wishing to become involved in the rampet violence that is so common throughout avalon. Having said this I must also say that there are times which a pacifist as with anyone e

lse will be involved in somthing, when friends start dying one tends to do something no matter their stand point on violence... Hence aquisations of interfearing in things, I think though that we as a whole would help a friend when we can some buy dra

wing a blade and anwsering violence with violence, others to bathe the body of the dead, or to res them in another manor...

I have read once something of the nature what is bravery, true bravery looking onto a battlefield and seeing you are outnumbered and will definatly die if you attack but doing so anyways, or seeing this situation and ordering your men from the field o

f combat and sparing thier lives... I can not awnser this question, the one of what it means to be a pacifist a true pacifist is much the same. It is stated by definition that being a pacifist is one that is opposed to violence or war, though I can no

t say that to be correct, according to my thoughts, on occation I do have them, being a pacifist would be chosing not to commit acts of violence or warfare. In saying this I will be the first to say I do not have a hatred for violence, at the same tim

e I do not condone it, nor would I wish to be part of it, given the choice. Though while chosing to be a pacifist, we must also be realists, violence will happen, here as in life it is our choice though to not be involved.

I will conclude this by saying the thought and true heart of a pacifist is not in violence and nonviolence as lines in life are never that simple, but in the choices that we make each day in avalon as with any other person. We will see friends die, an

d probably on occation join these freinds at the pool on occation, though if we each day show what we truly are in the heart of our being, by an act to aid, or by walking away when another might chose to do something, then maybe the light of peace ca

n shine slightly brighter in the land that is avalon...

May the light of Compasion shine in the hearts and minds of each of you that read this...
