As many of you will know, February 1st was our proposed end to the

global peacetime - where warfare is returned to Avalon and legions may

again combat one another, fight over SOI, invade etc. Since many of you

are still learing and the very useful battleisle (see HELP BATTLEISLE) has

just recently come into being we've decided to put back the switchon

date to the weekend of FEBRUARY 14th. This gives another ten days to get

yourselves and your friends over onto the battleisle where legions

can be interacted with, scenarios played out, at no cost or interference

with your own city/guild troops. MAKE USE OF THIS FACILITY! Just ask

a deity to let you in and you'll be able to take it from there... it's

all pretty straightforward.

The battleisle will remain open after FEBRUARY 14th for the foreseeable

future for anyone who wishes to take lessons in warfare or hone their

skills. It is likely we'll use it for one or two gemquests and flagquests

in the near future too.

So: FEBRUARY 14th. This is the red letter date currently penned in bold

on the calendar under 'WARFARE RETURNS'. WEEKEND OF FEBRUARY 14th. Take heed.

Complete your preparations. Gain confidence, those charged with city/guild

defences, in your abilities. Learn. FEBRUARY THE FOURTEENTH. Good luck.
