AN IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL AVALONIANS: warfare between cities and guilds

will be restored to Avalon from February 1st 2009. This means you should

be familiarising yourself with HELP 21 - the warfare help section - which

is up-to-date and completely evolved from its former content (under the

old system). Those of you who have been charged by your city or your guild

with the task of defending the homeland will need to step forward, here

and now, to answer the call of your brethren and meet your various

destinies. Warfare and conquest have the potential, like nothing else in

Avalon bar divine ordinations, to stamp indelibly new chapters of

Avalon's unfolding history.
