Emoting in combat.

Astynax has hit the nail on the head here - a small balance or equilibrium on each emote will solve the problem and shouldn't be difficult to implement. People who use them extensively in combat - whether to set off triggers or to disguise what they're really doing will still be able to use them but will also have to think very carefully on whether they are worth the cost, especially in the heat of a fight.

In fact, The more I think about it the better the idea seems - a balance cost would also enforce the 'realistic pause' between the emote and the next action.

Ewelyn, I understand the conflict of interests here between the role-playing aspect of the emote and and those of us who would like to not see it abused in combat. But this is a fighting issue, no one is proposing removing the emote entirely, I think a small balance cost - even in role-playing situations is really not a lot to ask. I too enjoy the odd emote at the Square with my friends.

Narl, I'm not sure whether you misunderstood my point, nowhere in it did I accuse you of botting or abusing trapping bugs. I was merely relaying what a prominent member of your city said about you when I spoke to them on how well you use trapping. If I could prove that you abuse trapping bugs I would have bug reported it myself already.
