This description of the battle and the coorisponding exchange of posts between
Ithakus and Allanon are quite interesting. If you re-read them you may learn
the following:
(1) Persons faced with certain death will do anything to survive, including using
CCC's and enlisting the aid of friends.
(2) All sensible fighters will maneuver to put themselves in a defendable position
and will take advantage of staves, emeny status or whatever to get the greatest
advantage.
(3) True courage is when the opponent acknowledges these risks and joins battle anyway.
(4) True honor is when the opponent, defeated by the odds against him, quietly prepares
to attack again.
Anyone looking for an example of what courage and honor on the battlefield really look
like need search no farther than the example set by Ithakus in this climatic battle.
