Yeah, I can see both sides to this argument, but I do think it kinda' kills the fun of avalon (part of it, I mean) to no longer have the gems working. I always wanted one, and even though I'm a terrible fighter I've strived to become better to acquire one. Now that they're useless, I'm not sure it's worth it. I think they should be active.
