For once, we seem to have had a few decent posts.
Now, don't get me wrong - I was not advocating the ignoring of challenges.
I was merely trying to point out that the worth of your challenge is pretty much in direct relation to your worth here in Avalon.
As Culinane suggested, interfering in his challenges is not typically good for your health.
For the majority of you, well, you live with what happens without that much recourse.
However I have to take Cul to task for saying that the purpose of a challenge is for two people to hammer out their differences.
It often is, but it also often isn't.
And of course, the whole challenging ritual, as Savannah pointed out, suits some professions and some styles a whole lot better than others.
Perhaps my bigger picture was more to say that this board tends to have a lot of knight style crap about honour and such.
The reality is knights make up but a part of Avalon, and the rest of us live by own rules - usually the ones that suit our own strengths.
Challenging is a tool, and usually you get the effect you want - to be left alone with the other guy or gal.
Please, just don't whine here when you do not get what you want.
Fortunately, thanks to my own request to Genesis, I no longer will bother to seek wisdom from this board, but from another.
Flogs
presences 10 to 1 we see posts saying that my posts are whines that I am not getting what I want. Wink.
