Well you find it fun right now Narissa, but I had an herb I could eat every 3 seconds making me immune to all poisons and stab, you wouldn't find it too fun.

Of course seers have other skills than mysticism. Fatalism is really powerfull. But you can't really kill someone competent with only curses.

Now I agree a lot of seer try nothing else than getting 40 bonds, and don't really use all their skills. But right now the blackroot makes a whole skillset useless. Specially more and more people trigger eating blackroot when bonded.

I would suggest a couple changes. First blackroot doesn't work if the wax has less than 15 bonds on you. That would allow the seers to use some of their mysticism skills, like image will or cripple.

Then we could for exemple apply blackroot every 5 seconds, instead of every 3 seconds.

So it would be harder for the seer to burn and force them to use others skills, but it wouldn't make a whole skillset useless.
