I fight in staves quite a bit, I just take the precautions to not be killed by them. Hence not fighting the said loremaster around their staves so they can push me through them.

Maybe it my tolerance or lack of bloodlust, but if an enemy lm goes to a heavily staved area, I will leave them be, or wait for them to come back to me. They only concern I could see would be the compassion potion/eat pill trick, but even then there are defences to stop pushing and levitation. Rather easy ones at that.

I find it silly that most of the complaints are coming from those that routinely attack in enemy cities. In fact I can think of numerous ways to stop lms from using this, you just have to be quick to think how to counter them.
