well as has been stated here many times. there have been more than one attempt at controling poisons, some together with the bandits, and some not. none have been very successful.
erasmus, nann, phoroz,resik, and a few select others have always been rare, forest poisons are a bit better , thanks to gardens. one suggestion would be to have the option to pick the type of garden you might have, so that all types could be grown in
such a manner. If this was done, there would always be a small number of fairly secure locations to grow in, probably centered with the guilds that use them, but not limited to them.
while i appluad the grand idea of universal picking laws, the enforcement of such would have to be so harsh that a large percentage of the guilds involved would find it distasteful to say the least.
this method allows enforcement by protection, instead of manipulation of more variables than can even be measured. too many humans are involved and alot of freedoms will be sacrificed to enforce any common laws.
I am always willing to talk, and listen , and be convinced its possible. but so far, in a hundred years, it hasnt yet. and its not for a lack of trying. smile.
