To throw my oar in, I've elected for a few years of duellism to take some time out to enjoy the view and see what changes have happened since I last crawled into the cider barrel in the cellars of the Drunken Sailor.

You'll get a few raised eyebrows and people saying\"but you're a Warrior, warriors can't be duellists\" and I've also heard\"but it weakens the guild and the city\" and various others. Maybe it's because the duellist status is still classed as new, or maybe it's because the duellist status isn't been used to duel enough that people think this.

Rebuilding settings is a definite use for duellists, as is helping to train the younger members of the guild. At the end of the day, the thing that will give duellism an element of respect is if duellists issue, accept and win duels.

League table sounds like a great idea to me, I'll sponsor the annual winners drinking competition.
