Scotty has no citizenship.

He holds Grand-Master and Elder ranks in the Rangers Guild.

Born in Mercinae, Scotty preferred the freedom of Parrius and the forests

and lived happily as a Ranger under the patronage of the Hunter until the

dark clouds of Thakrian agression forced the Parrian government into

collapse. The resultant exodus of Parrian citizens to Mercinae was

something the proud Ranger could never fully accept and he soon quit city

life to dwell in the forest forever.

Perhaps his greatest personal glory came in the famous defence of his

guild, when, as deputy Guildmaster, he brought his experience to the fore

and took command when all around him had fallen. His willingness to battle

in the face of overwhelming odds saw him succeed and earn a page in Avalon

history.

On the 11th day of Leaflost 967, he was married to Arielle Beloved of the Forests, with the ceremony presided by Aldaron, the god of life.

Though an Avalon marriage is usually for life, uniquely he was granted a

divorce by Apollo, the god of light on the 14th day of Midsummer 1029.
