Citizen of Thakria | Sorcerers Guild | No Order |
Laurelhach Born: November-1990
Laurelhach is a citizen of Thakria.
He holds Elder rank in the Sorcerers Guild.
Laurelhach was one of the finest Sorcerers of Avalon, a competent fighter and philosopher. He was known for his strident opinions but his studies took him into dark regions that caused his mind to fray at the edges especially when he encountered the void. One day he awoke and convinced the Gods were but a myth and made the mistake of challenging the pantheon to prove their existence. Cornelius, god of magic responded by banishing Laurelhach to the underworld for three centuries.
He was one of firstborn of the Thakrians whose life began after the City of Mirales became a full city under Trekker and his Mercinaen rebels. Laurelhach was born Thakrian, bred Thakrian and one of its defining statesmen during the Davros-era. Laurelhach took on the tradition of Trekker and Angmar, held the keys to the Grey Tower and was Guildmaster of the Sorcerers in the early 9th century. His position was lost eventually as his madness took form and though he was awarded Elder status, ten years later his famous collision with the god of magic left him banished to the underworld for three hundred years. His release came in the year 1268 aDW but has yet to realise his own liberation and wanders the lightless caverns a mere shadow of his former self.
He was awarded the status of guild elder on the 20th day of Leaflost 960.
He was banished to the underworld by Cornelius, the god of magic, on the 12th day of Mournsend 968.
He was released from the underworld, having served the years of his penance, on the 12th day of Mournsend 1268.
