Jashiri, Alchemy's Mischief

Jashiri hails from the city of Mercinae.

Jashiri is a member of the Alchemists Guild with Grand-Mistress and Elder statuss. she has been honoured as a trusted guild tutor.

   Jashiri grew up in Oakwood's End, the only daughter of two farmers. As an only child, her parents doted upon her and let her do nearly everything she wished. This lack of discipline in her youth, combined with free access to Sarec's schoolhouse, caused her to develop an unruly and insatiable curiosity. Her scholarly interests eventually made her pack up her few belongings and head off to the Springdale University. After graduation, she became a Craftmaster, which pleased her parents greatly. Unfortunately, Jashiri had few peers in Springdale. Most the Springdalians were old, exiled or broken by recent wars that had not gone the way of the city of dreams. Thakria had the upper hand in a conflict that blighted the very streets of the rivertown.

   Jashiri pushed on, however, despite the misfortunes that surrounded her; perhaps less tarnished by the war effort and - with all the vigour of youthful optimism - chose Wraith as her patron, delighting in the ancient young god's carefree jokes-a-plenty world. While many of her friends left Springdale, she stayed and eventually enjoyed a brief stint as a Baroness. Here, however, conflict arose: Springdale, its civic spirit in a beauracratic doldrums became frustrating then infuriating and Jashiri grew manic, fearing madness. She had no choice but to depart - to seek her future elsewhere; she movved to Mercinae and became an Alchemist. Her loyalty to the Alchemists Guild was quickly galvanised as her guildmates became a surrogate family.

   No other lore excites her unruly curiosity like the enigmatic alchemy, the ancient runic and potion-mixing secret, the mysteries of the lorestaff and the gemwoven robes. Jashiri enjoyed a string of ephemeral flirtations with other professions but each time returned to the Alchemists Guild, finally swearing an oath in her heart to the god of time that she would be bound lifelong to the one guild she has loved enough to call forever Home.

She was welcomed into the Order of Wraith by Aine on the 25th day of Paglost 1178.

On the 17th day of Midsummer 1207, she accepted citizenship of Mercinae.

On the 3rd day of Ilmarael 1237, she was initiated back into the Alchemists Guild (under the mastery of Alchie Jackle watching the flow). This time, she has sworn an oath, it will be forever.

She gained promotion in the Order of Wraith, to the rank of Executive Secretary in the "Disorder" Chapter. The promotion was given on the 18th day of Hindyear 1319.

She was awarded the status Elder of the Alchemists Guild on the 14th day of Midwinter 1368 by Xion, Brightblade.

Jashiri was noted as having manifested both Fire and Ice Temples - completing the FIREANDICE deed - in days of yore. Recognition came in Midwinter 1383 aDW.

Jashiri successfully completed the HALFBADGED deed (completed the tenth apprentice badge) on the 28th day of Agamnion 1453 aDW. It is an achievement rated easily accomplished.
