He holds Deputy Guildmaster and Elder ranks in the Thieves Guild.

Grendel joined many guilds in his time, but settled for the Thieves for most of his Avalon life. His skill range is vast, and his contribution to the ordination of Mephisto is well-chronicled. As a smaller mortal, it was said that none ran as did Grendel, and when attacked on one side of Avalon, a few moments later, would Grendel have high-tailed it to the other.
