Elbethamore began his life as a Mercinaen mystic. With his guild virtually empty, he quickly became one of the youngest guildmasters in modern history, serving also as a minister of his city and follower of the god of the sea. Adept at the art of Farsight and the ways of diplomacy, he was able to provide some stability and security to his city, but that period of history for the mystics is generally characterized by their obscurity. Ultimately, his diplomatic efforts failed and after his city was forced to buy an expensive treaty with the astrologers, he departed for the animists guild. Elbethamore played a pivotal role in the survival of the animists guild after its near collapse following the departure of its guildmaster, Bosno. This turn of events brought recognition to Elbethamore from within the fold, and he rose quickly within the guild heirarchy. Now a priest of Rhadamanthys, Elbethamore ultimately rose to the guildmastery of the animists, providing his guild with much-needed stability, but achieving little personal distinction.

The vitality and energy of the druid before you belies his considerable age. Grey hair rests upon his shoulders and his face is marked with fine lines from a lifetime of broad smiles and furrowed brows. Green eyes suggest wisdom and age, but as he looks away, they show a spark of youthful mischief. He stands straight and tall, and dirt under the fingernails of those delicate hands show that he is no stranger to the garden.
