Adaryn hails from the city of Thakria.
Adaryn is a member of the Seers Guild with Grand-Mistress and Elder statuss.
Adaryn was born in the year 1188 and spent the first twenty years of her adult life in the city of Thakria, rising up the ranks of the Seers Guild and eventually - almost in absentia - becoming guildmistress of the guild. In the year 1228, on the urging of a divinely inspired dream, she quit the Seers and took up the keys of the dusty, empty Astrologers Guild of Parrius. She became a citizen of Parrius and subsequently Guildmistress of the Astrologers. It was a difficult phase in Adaryn's life for Parrians were suspicious and some downright unwelcoming. Adaryn, though twice victorious in election against Cordon was eventually ejected from Parrius was sent back to Thakria to nurse her wounds. She was married to Lightfingers and spent a time under the spell of the Darkness but never recovered her former position and vigour. It took almost a century's absence to heal old wounds and revitalise new ambitions. Adaryn's revival towards the end of the 14th Century aDW was quickly apparent as leadership of the Seers Guild, election to the baronial council and permanent inclusion in the Thakrian aristocracy were attained within a few years of her return.
On the 12th day of Ilmarael 1231, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.
She was welcomed into the Order of Nostradamus on the 28th day of Hindyear 1249. It was an episode lasting four years until her marriage in 1253 aDW.
On the 29th day of Mournsend 1253, she was married to Lightfingers, Disciple of Death, with the ceremony presided by Thanatos, god of Death. The Darkness left her on this day.
She was awarded the status Elder of the Seers Guild on the 7th day of Skyelong 1295 by Seer Cabe, the Eternal Shadow.
Lightly stepping into the area as if a ghost, the young woman before you is clothed in white as a sign of mournful waiting. Her dark, chestnut hair hangs loose and long compared to her notoriously elaborate raised styles full of ornaments and twists. Instead, only the sides have been loosely pulled back, away from her face, and tied with a thin maroon ribbon.
Her white robe is plain, and bound to her with a wide white belt at her small waist. She adorns her face with nothing save for her eyes which are thinly lined in kohl, an ancient ward against curses directed towards her. Upon closer inspection, you notice a shine to her cheeks, and that beyond the obvious black of the kohl a redness to her eyes- all as if she had been crying just moments before. However, nothing but her eyes and her slightly moist cheeks give any such clues away- her face is set, a fai
nt determination etched there, in what would otherwise be a mask to cover what might be profoundly ailing her.
As she turns to go about her business, you spot a glimmer of shine. It came from the inner layers of her robes, and chancing one more glance again you see that it is infamous sun-stone. Her delicate, pale hand moves forward to adjust the layers of her robes, concealing the amulet from view but revealing a silver ring upon her finger- a ring of the thieves guild- and although her aura coveys to all her status as one of the elusive Oracles of the land, nay, the first Oracle to walk upon avalon, you gathe
r from this ring some inexplicable bond between this woman and that gathering of swarthy rogues.
Adaryn is known to be active in Avalon at this time.
