Members of a guild can KNOCK on the front-door of their guildhouse. Knocking on the door alerts the guild's secondary or junior CCC tutor (see HELP TUTORS) and, providing the tutor is not busy with somebody else, he or she will presently come out to meet the member a-knocking at the door. This allows a guild to provide a guild tutor without having to give out precious keys to the guildhouse interior. Prospective apprentices, i..e. those who have yet to join a guild, can also KNOCK at the front-door of a guild-house. This knocking will, unless the guild has closed its doors to new initiates, encourage the guild's secondary tutor to come out and tell the youngster about the guild and professional skills, eventually offering a place in the guild itself.
