As far push or far face are the only two seer skills which will affect a pacifist (as far as my extremely bad memory of my time as a prophet goes) I would imagine we cannot use deflection because there are many other times it could be used for less p

acifist purposes, ie to prevent a seer from gaining a focus in a location.

If anyone has any further knowledge of this, I'd like to hear it too, but I would imagine that is the reason - there are many more skills which we as pacifists would be able to prevent if we could deflect than the two which directly affect us.
