I also posted this to the Elders BB since it was mentioned there as well.
At the moment there are several gods who choose not to accept pacifists into
their orders, so it's not unexpected that there have been calls for a god that
chooses not to accept fighters. A pacifist god.
Like others, I don't think having a god specifically for pacifists is a good
idea. It could polarise Avalon even more than it is now, possibly causing
several fighters, who currently tolerate pacifists, to hate them, and there is
enough of that at the moment as it is.
I can see where they are coming from though. We need a god that can teach
us how to better enjoy the non-combat side of Avalon, be it as a pacifist or
fighter. A god that is maybe more accomodating to the needs of those mortals
who choose pacifism or choose not to get so deeply involved with the fighting.
Rhadamanthys was such a god, spending time with his followers, discussing
various topics, and showing others how to behave appropriately, before his
extended absence. Now the Land needs someone like that. A guiding hand and
a caring soul.
