Sadly those deities recently returned from long periods of absence

aren't associated with the traditionally 'pacifist' role... and the

question of appointment is not unreasonably raised here.

The main stumbling block is long-term trustworthiness and durability of

any appointee. It is very difficult to predict the ebb and flow of an

individuals future Avalon career, even if one were deemed suitable (based

on mortal performance) for appointment.
