As the gem quests continue to roll out, aiming for a competitive

ordination in late January, early February at the latest, it has also

come to Olympian attention that there is a lack of vibrant young

deities. With this in mind I have decided to court the appointment

of two new divinities.

Rather than some mechanistic competition, though, the appointments will be

chosen from all interested mortals based on their ability to present

themselves for interview, put their case for appointment, and successfully

deal with questions from the committee of Gods. The Godly committee will

interview all interested mortals and when all interviews are complete

they will retire and decide on the two illustrious appointments.

Applications for divine appointment should be made in letter to Genesis

over the next week or so. You don't need to pitch your case in the

letter of application. Save that for your interview. Details of what is

expected at interview will be posted when all applications are

received. The deadline for the first appointment applications is Midnight

on Friday 18th December, and the deadline for the second appointment

applications is December 31st. Interviews for the first appointment

will take place between the 18th and 31st of December. Interviews for the

second appointment will take place between the 2nd and 10th of January.

Interviews will be publicly scheduled and all will be welcome to watch

proceedings if they wish.
