I will be hosting the divine gem quest for the Opal of Compassion on Sunday, Oct 12th at 7pm by the Avalon clock (2pm EST). This is a peaceful quest that tests your knowledge of Avalon geography through three series of races with five heats in each series. Points will be awarded for win, place and show of each race. He who gains the most points by the end of the three series wins the Opal. Any form of fighting or aggression will result in disqualification.

I will have as the final say on all race outcomes. Breath loss and skies will be turned off. This quest is suitable for participants of all ages and skill levels and merely requires knowledge of all types of geography.

The first series will be straight point to point races with the top 20 proceeding to the second round. The second series of races will be from item to item with the top 10 proceeding to the third round. The third series of races will from description to description with the top 5 proceeding to the final round. If a tie breaker s necessary, we proceed to a special race of my choosing.

The competitor with the highest score at the end of the quest will not only be awarded the Opal of Compassion, but will also join others as a contender in the upcoming Ordination.
