Avalon's \"sponsorship\" system is now active and explained fully in the

HELP SPONSORSHIP file. The intention here is to create a \"subscription

gift, by merit / potential / historical worth\"; to make subscription and

procurement costs not a stumbling block IF one of the small list of

privileged (Guildmaster, Head Tutor, Prince/ss, Cardinal, Public Relations

Minister) figure the player is worthy.

criticisms and questions are welcome. Don't be shy of expressing your

concerns.

whether to use the limited number of sponsorships available to a city

or guild.

Most of you will be able to type SPONSORING CITY or SPONSORING GUILD to

see those fellow citizens or guild-members whose subscriptions are of the

sponsorship type. NOTE: sponsored subscription is NO different to regular

subscription in terms of what a player gains. I envisage it being used

for promising novices, historical returning \"names of repute\" and players who're

able to prove their worth to their sponsors.
