To whom it may concern.....

Recently there has been a lot of moaning and groaning, huffing and puffing

about how I use staves. Apparently according to the established players

of Mercinae and Springdale, sitting in staves is cowardly, and using these

abilities in my skill set are in some way wrong!...

Very strange indeed considering that I, along with my fellow loremasters

possess 4 guild skills, one of which is forging and the bulk of the others

involve the manufacture of items available to everyone!

If anybody objects to my use of staves, I'll gladly not use them as soon

as they agree to forgo the usage of one of their guild skills of my choice.

Basically, I reject to idiotic notion that I cannot use staves during a

challenge, after all they are in my skill set. A skill set that certainly

does not contain more offensive abilities than any other guild.

So stop this whinging. Some of you, (Gandalf, Culinane) should know much

better. Mages use Rituals. Knights use JabJab. Thieves use Yank.

Rangers use Netting. Sorcerors use Blackhand and this loremaster is

certainly going to use his runic staves.

So if you would like to fight a challenge, I'm afraid that will mean

fighting me with all my abilities. A wise deity once said 'choose the

locations you fight in' if you don't want to be there, shut up and

stay away.
