The only reason Saphir picks on you is out of sheer frustration about is
inability to last two minutes in a fight with somebody even anywhere close
to his own size. He hides in his guild, using his seeing stone to fight, which
is quite obviously a prerogative of his profession and no problem in and of
itself. But, should anyone try to get into his guild to fight back, he
runs immediately to his barracks, which are conveniently only one location away
from his seeing stone. This obvious exploitation of the barracks system would
have been stopped ages ago if Saphir wasn't so completely ineffectual. As it is,
my advice is ignore him and let him have his fun, let him think he's a big tough
Prophet. Once you learn a bit more about what you're doing, he'll be too busy
hiding from you to kill you any more.
