Some of you may have messages in your MSG files about being given the

honour 'true fighter'. Others may have heard of it and be wondering what

the deal is. Type HELP FIGHTERS for an explanation. It's an ongoing, non

experience points based list of those who the pantheon deem to have

a certain decent level of savoire-fare about their fightskills. It's nothing

to get excited about, nothing enormously difficult to attain (though

I'm sure many won't) and brings with it no benefits 'cept it may be used

in future gemquests/fightleagues and knockout tournaments (e.g. more

points gained for slaying a truefighter, etc).

There may be some of you who feel you should be on the list and you'll see,

when you read the blurb, that there's a simple way to get on it. You beat

comprehensvely somebody already included, on a level playing field. You can

also noodge a deity to watch you fight and judge the results but more often

we will be bestowing the accolade ourselves as and when.
