I know there isn't a terribly large pool of people, but why don't we gather hard numbers and have an interdisciplinary contest.

To further this, once the best our modern day has to offer has been drawn from each profession, there can be fights to judge who is the best fighter in the land.

I believe this is the old tourney idea, but it doesn't necessarily have to be so formalized.
