How would all of you define role-play? I ask this because I am seeing accusations of a lack of role-play being made on all sides. Some of these accusations, in my opinion, are either hypocritical, unfounded, or both. Please do not misinterpret this post as an attempt on my part to create my own niche of vilification. I genuinely desire to know what everyone's definition of role-play is. It seems to me almost everyone on this board produces above and beyond their fair share of derision, threats, et
c. While such things are a part of role-play, they are not all that it consists of. Same with fighting. It plays a part in role-play, but is only a fraction of all it entails. This is just my opinion, however. Do tell me what yours is.
P. S. If some of you think this discussion would be more appropriate for some other board, by all means, post your reponses there. Thanks.
