Location Based:

Krill - strong damage, good movement, and I work very well with him -ahem-

Koenen - hard one for a LM choice, Zeni is very good in teams as well, I just have more fighting experience with Koenen and know we are a very good team together

August - one of the best mages at holding a location, keeping rits up and staying defensive. Fistandantilus and Aerian and etc, while nasty to fight, are too strongly focused on individual fighting, using mists and other tactics that don't mesh well for a mage's prime role of keep the rits up as a solid base defence.

Threap (as a sorc) - Rits + absolve = yummy, plus Threap and his demons are a team on their own. Also great with necro summon

Mobile:

Krill, Koenen and Threap again. Trade out August for either Esprii (very good at giving curses and removing rits from opposing teams) or Zenichiro (two LMs = painful).
