There is a fair difference between whining and criticizing. It is unfortunate that most
people, almost always my enemies, cannot tell that difference.
Bugfiling the application of blackroot and hoping a deity will hear that plea is ridiculous.
I bugfile things that are truly buglets in this world. Being able to discern the difference
between a technique that makes an entire skillset useless (e. g. Visor) and a technique that
crosses the lines of reality (e. g. applying blackroot when a Seer is in the pool of life or
logged out in his or her location) is something I fear you are doomed to misinterpret as well.
And as Hanann said, Esprii was the one who brought it up on the Elders board first, the very
Seer that fights for your city and order. Perhaps instead of saying to yourself, \"Oh, that
idiotic Abydos! I can't wait to slag her on the bb! \" you should look at what I am actually
writing and do that thing they teach you how to do at 3-4 years of age (i. e. read).
If I really wanted to stop 'complaining' as you call it, I'd simply join the Cavaliers.
But I suppose I enjoy doing something that requires more planning and stealth, then the
brazen go out there with swords swinging philosophy.
I think the biggest dent that the blackroot trick makes is on the young Seers (and I am stilla
a young seer). Without fatalism, stealth, or farsight, there is little choice I have besides
puppets to get bonds. So not only is the young Seer unable to do anything offensive without
at least 5 bonds for image pierce, we are lucky enough now to even get beyond that many bonds.
I like Hanann's suggestion of the trick only working if the Seer has over 15 bonds on you and
the time delay is as long as the bond equilibrium. To me, that is clever thinking, whereas
your comments can be thrown in the 'brainless slagging pile' which has accumulated to malignant
proportions all over the bb system.
