The Great Blackroot Debate of 1146.

Applying blackroot in a Seer's location -- what can I say about such a great tactic?

I would have thought that people would understand the devastation it can have on the Seer's

profession as a whole. As if Seers weren't teamed and hounded enough, here is a way to erase

those pesky bonds on someone with the only cost being one blackroot poison. Needless to say,

every few seconds it can be applied, whereas a Seer is stuck in a location, unable to move after

bonding the person. Where exactly will this lead? Well it has already lead to competent

players like Threap, Kodiak, and Zenichiro tagging it onto their offensive macros. So now

a Seer is left with no choice but to bond them from afar. Yet, if we do that, we can still

only get up to 36 bonds before we must face them ourselves.

This blackroot trick is about as close to absurd as one can get. It presents many unrealistic

expectations placed upon the Seer and in a situation where we have no choice but to face an

opponent (for example, a mutual challenge, duel or more importantly, a gem quest)

it turns the challenging fight against a Seer into a simpleton's dreams.

But this is one mystic's opinion who cannot write on the elders' board yet. Perhaps other

seers and non-seers may comment on this blackroot trick, both here and on the Elders.

I believe it is time to truly defend its validity in the fighters world.
