Honour by association.

Sir Arthor, The Honourableto Gond, Astronomy Domine

I understand thy point, Gond, and even agree with it to some extent.

Lord Apollo has also raised this argument with me, and it is a reasonable one, so here is my best explanation.

The easiest answer is that there is no city in Avalon in which honour is the ruling principle. Indeed, I know more people in Thakria with some shred of honour than in Mercinae.

So I make the best of a difficult situation in trying to bring honour to Avalon at large.

This is not to say that there are not perfectly dishonourable men in Thakria, but I cannot change everyone. (anyone?)

Secondly, I am not powerful enough (at least not yet) to enforce my views of honour, so for now I do what I can, and bide my time.

The hypocritisism of Mercinae disgusts me, as does the pacifism of Springdale. Parrius' orginazation is not to my liking, which leaves Thakria.

I, of course, have other reasons for being Thakrian, <snigger> but that will suffice for now.

Sir Arthor, the Honourable.
