Gond, Astronomy Domineto Sir Arthor, The Honourable

As one may assume, I have no great desire to fight anyone of your size. You are

indeed a curious study. You treat me respectfully on the occasions we have met,

honestly try to uphold your viewpoint on honour (lucky I'm not involved in that one),

and even do me the courtesy of warning me that certain behaviors of mine will get

me shipped, which is far more warning than I typically get. And yet, your code of

ethics allows you to provide an umbrella to a group of people who hold to no code

of behavior save that of personal gain at the price of the small.

I submit to you that one's reputation is not only based on his personal behavior,

but is also based on the behavoir of his companions and compatriots. Your tacit

support of these dishounorable actions sullies the reputation you are trying

to maintain and makes a mockery of the justice that must eventually come to those

that hold to no law save their own.

I am small and chose not to involve myself in your affaris, for obvious reasons. If

you chose to involve yourself in mine, you certainly have the ability to do so and I

am of course unable to do anything about it. With that said, I shall give you a piece

of advice that may have wider implications for you than simply this issue. Meditate

on the consistency of your position. Your standpoint on honour is based on the minutia

of your and others' actions. If you hope to hold yourself above those with no honour and

bless gond brighteye recognized by the population at large for doing so, you cannot support, even indirectly,

the dishonourable actions of those you have vowed to protect. You have appointed yourself

jury and executioner in this matter. Take on the role of judge as well then, and try

to understand the entire situation, all of the niggling details that so concern you.

All of Avalon is watching to see how the only person in all the Land who claims

Honour in his title will react.
