Good and Evil.
#4110

I don't want to get into a slanging match here, I've always found them a bit pathetic. But I feel I must reply to your little rant. Don't expect many more.

If you truly think your actions in parrius repeatedly attacking and stripping our citizens are \"justice\" either for some small slight earlier (Angharad summoned one person out of trouble, once?) or for the actions of different people in the distant past, then just keep doing what you're doing.

All I asked was that you reflect on what you consider good to be.

I for one count good or evil in peoples actions. You clearly do not.

As for my \"idleness\", do not judge me. I have led cities and fought for my beliefs many years and not many would call me idle.

I have acted in the past in the best interests of my city, and as you can see it has prospered well.

Your hatred for Zenichiro consumes you to the point that you don't seem to remember the difference between the Parrian Zeni and tha Thakrian Zeni. In any case, he as others were part of the great melting pot of freedom and diversity that is Parrius, the jewel of the east.

For that is the point of our city - we accept all kinds of people, we don't judge each other because our independence is more important than anything else.

You clearly find it hard to live with any other viewpoint than your own, as your chequered history of cities and alliegience has shown.

However perhaps others in the land who don't want to have to be judged, who seek to make their own destiny and define their own beliefs will see something in the East that each one of Parrius's citizens sees and holds dear: the chance for freedom.

Dunccan I won't accuse you or judge you, though clearly you are consumed by many emotions. But please consider my words: that good and evil describe actions, not people or cities.

That may make your life a little more difficult since you have to consider your own actions more carefully - that is only to be expected, for isn't Good supposed to be the more difficult path? I assure you however that it is rewarding should you choose to try walking it one of these days.
