to collecting comms, so even my early years where spent getting killed rather a lot.

astral someone pointed out a bard is a very good skill set to fight a sorcerer with, I am sure there are many here that remember Cullinae. By far the best bard to ever play in my time. I rarly won a challenge agaist him. I am sure many of you remember Damocles in his mortal form of Sturge, a thief that beat me in challenges more often than I would kill him. im. In more recent times Orinoko as a knight, some of our battles lasted over an hour before one of us fell. Pahn by far the best ranger type I have fought, our fights would last 30 mins plus. Zenichiro of course as a loremaster. The skills in Avalon have not changed any great deal in recent times not the sorcerers anyway. Yet above you can see a player from each class that beat me most of the time. The skills are pretty much the same, why could they beat me yet you cant?

The answer is a simple one, at that time they where better.

Dedicate your life to combat. Win Gem quests, fight in ordinations. Gain All ultimate skills. Fight when your city is on the edge of being destroyed. Spend 200 years dieing to perfect the art of survival. That's the path that has brought me to the level I am currently at. Abydos you have been a bard for 3 years how can you possibly expect to beat someone of my experience?
