For those who didn't notice this as it went on, Qrick and I (with help from Tristian) killed Thenithule, Eldur, Aerian, Issiri, Lhachril, in the stave field that is the warlocks guild. Better yet, after they had each died, Aerian managed to run to his

stockroom, where he promptly logged off, leaving his friends in ghost form within his very guild!

Yes, you do 'protect' both your guild and city--If by protect, you mean run from any competent fighter, and abandon those who relied on you, after dying in your own locations to a smaller team. I have no doubt that Esprii would wipe you in single comb
