As for some guilds like you mentioned quite correctly the Rangers have the treetops
and the Thieves have the sewers as a safe haven like the Pool of Life except they can
get lesson credits there whilst being completely safe except for the odd ritual if you
are in the treetops.
Some people actually do the odd bit of work in the stockroom, commodity work or stocking
their shop which is fine. Some people use it as a convenience area to be online and see
what is happening in the land but are semi-afk (maybe they are using Telnet at work or
another Client). Since these people all subscribe I do not think it fair to make their
safe haven traversable otherwise you would see no one on the \"who list\".
What I think may be a suggestion which will those who see others dwelling in stockrooms is
to set it so that lessons are not accrued whilst you are in stockroom like the Pool of Life.
To make this fair other safe havens like sewers and treetops would have to be set the same,
as will temples otherwise everyone who is trying to get lessons would end up in their
respective temples.
