There has been a plan for a while now to run a trigger-free Gem quest where everyone has the opportunity to fight with the same client and without the advantage of triggers.

Orthwein was kind enough to write a new Java based client to be used during just such a quest, which does not suffer from many of the problems facing Javalon users. Its actually quite good and is free to download on the Avalon site.
