Anyone who complains of mists in multiple locations is just foolish. Other than sorcerors, (there are no exceptions to this--no matter how much some classes will clamor over it) Mists affect both the mage and the opponent equally. Ask Flagg... or Orino

If mists are the deciding factor in your fights, that's your fault. That the intelligent mages of Avalon capitalize on many people's issues with mists is simply logical...
Mages have as many soft equilibrium attacks to use as most classes, and we have plenty of poweful attacks outside of mists that we cannot use within them--that's a sacrifice we make.
However, your mention of the jj not losing balance on pentacle, well, though I agree...you really shouldn't be pentacling against knights. You have other skills that will work far more effectively.
