what is up with Rangers being able to attack through pentacle and fullparry? they already have excellent skills.

Is there some reason that a general skill cannot stop balance weapon attack? all the other guilds have a basic defence that stops their main attack.

now, I have fought many bears, and it has only come recently that they could attack through pentacle by means of weapons, and not just pipes.

Someone explain to me what is happening? or give a skill besides charged items and slicing, that goes through fullparry?
