Maiya, Queen of Sirensto Koyen the Merciless

How dare you compare me to such short-lived characters like 'Phaid,' Koyen.

I have played for far longer and endured decades of suffering, of which most of

these 'persecuters' claim is my own doing. The fighters board is the only

appropriate place to discuss out of realm issues as long as they affect the in

realm context. You don't think I've tried other worlds and compared them to this?

Please, Koyen, I have done my research and there are many out there that provide

a more judicial approach to game play and player killing, but it is the fighting

system that is drastically lacking in its appeal. Only Avalon has such immense

battle strategy as to keep you up at night letting your mind wander and conjure

up new tactics and tricks. When I think of Avalon, I do not see letters and words,

but fleeting pictures and ideas that my mind interprets fluidly. It is an

experience that only a mature player can achieve and it is indeed the most

satisfying. I, like Avalon's true essence, am constantly changing and

adapting until I reach a blockade. It is at that point that I try to break through

to the other side and push the wall further back, revealing more of Avalon's

potential. I am the voice that objects, the voice that questions, and the voice

that is very rarely satisfied. I am the hardest customer and if you can please me,

you can please anyone.

All this is not meant to make the Gods bend over backwards for me, but to make

known the opinion of a population of people that consider something unfair or

demeaning to the game's spirit. Yes, the GAME'S SPIRIT. For many, Basketball is

their life, for some chess is their life and for a very rare breed, their JOB,

yes, their OOC JOB is their life. Like it or not there are actually many of us

that live this life, and we don't want to come home and get frustrated because

shitheads like Dirl team-bond and take heads that they didn't earn just to make

somebody prematurely stop playing freely for the next 2 days. Now this is just

one example of the Divinity's failure to oversee that the game's level of

competitive integrity is still in check. And I will always be there to make a

big stink about it. How else would anything advance if this world was a virtual

utopia? This world, like the real world, is by no means perfect, but I intend

to make the necessary steps in order to make it pretty damn close.

Thanks for your input, but I am insulted by it.
