Now, first off, I will say, I did run to a stock room. However, the situation was one quite different from the one I described in response to Plaman.
I live for one on one combat. It is what I wish to excell at, when the day is done. If you run to a stockroom from a single person, that is sad. My situation was one quite different.
I defeated Solan in a challenge, and Flagg immediately began bonding me. I went back to my rituals room and basically floundered there trying to figure out how to attack him, because frankly, I suck against decent seers.
It was not until Zenichiro portalled in as well to attack me, that I ran off.
The fact is, though I have little chance against Flagg, I won't run to the complete safety of a stock room from just him. The xp loss from one fight is not enough to keep me cowering in hiding. Neither will I run to a stock room from Zenichiro. The tw
o of them, however is suicide.
Now, as Zenichiro arrogantly informed me while keeping his tells off, he left after he noticed flagg on me as well. I was unaware of this, as I was desperately trying to stay alive, rather than pay attention to where he was after I left his location.
This having occured, hell yes I highgtailed it to a stockroom. There is no shame in hiding from two all ult fighters, especially when the two of them are the two people in this game I have the most trouble defeating one on one.
Flagg did indeed issue a challenge afterwards. However, given his skillset and the clever, if boring, use of his skills that I have encountered with Flagg in the past, it was an impossible fight for me. Regardless, I would have returned it and accepte
d a death and perhaps learned from it, but at the time, I was under the impression that he and Zenichiro had been teaming me.
As I have already said, I have no problem losing in a challenge, and the occasions that I have refused challenges in my time in the lands have been damn rare, however, I had absolutely no desire to give free experience to someone who had acted as he h
ad.
An additional note, Flagg had also bonded me DURING my challenge with Solan. Yet another reason I didn't feel like padding his hit points.
After this, Flagg started attacking Noda. Damn respectable Flagg, to attack someone with as little chance against you as he. I came out at that point, and got teamed not just by Zenichiro and Flagg, but also you, Tleilaxu. And in the midst of this, Ze
nichiro even tried to strip me, though he was quite unsuccesful.
Tleilaxu, you refuse to fight anyone who is of a decent size one on one. I've chased you to stock rooms through your stave fields time and again. That makes you a coward. That you accepted a single challenge from me does not simply dispell all your co
wardice at a go.
Zenichiro, I've asked you for challenge a bunch of times in the past months. You have never accepted one. You rely on jumping me as I log on, WITH help. I point to the past two times this has occured, firstly with Mohrion, and nextly with Gaar.
I do believe I will defeat you if you ever decide to try me in a prepared one on one fight. I think you just don't want to prove me right.
Flagg, cut the crap as I'm one of the few mages that will still fight you one on one, if not the only one. That you had to drop to the level of bonding me during a challenge and then directly after is just sad. If you ahd issue dthe challenge to begin
with, I would have accepted. You blew that possibility for yourself.
Oh, Zenichiro? Issue that challenge sometime, eh? I'll be waiting.
